Now more than ever children need the support of mindful awareness and transformative mindfulness practices. A yoga practice, specific for a child’s age, is the best way to bring mindfulness to children. With mindful awareness, children pay attention to their thoughts, feelings and emotions so they better understand what is happening to them. They learn to respond versus react to situations and they become more thoughtful, resilient, and empathetic.
Of course they will need to practice daily the tools provided in the 20-30 minute Live Online private session with Yvonne Clark, our Certified Yoga Therapist. She will provide the private session as a family session or an individual session. She has been instructing yoga since 2006 and is a former Reading Teacher and Specialist for KUMON North America.
